Teton National Park

One of our favorite places to go is Teton National Park in WY. It is so beautiful! I love the mountains, lakes and trees. Here are some of my favorite pics from our trip.

Perkes Family

I couldn't have had more fun taking these pictures. The Perkes always make me laugh. I had a blast capturing their awesome relationship they have together.

Dalling Family

My sister in law and her family are a faming family, so why not take family pictures in a wheat field?! I love this family so much and the kids are becoming really good at becoming my models.

Skeen Family

I grew up with Jenny and we are more similar then we often realize. Jenny and Trevor recently had a baby boy named Holden. This is from this last summer so he is a little bigger and chunkier and cuter then ever. What an amazing family they are!

Janelle and Jacob Wedding

I was priviledged to photograph this beautiful couples wedding this summer. They were married in the Logan, UT temple.

Mountain Men

My brother and his roommate came to visit so we decided to go to the Mountain Man Rendezvous! It was so fun! What these guys do is travel around the country during the summer putting on these Rendezvous. They sell bows, arrows, clothes you name it. They even shot bowling balls out of a canon. They had black powder riffle and so much more. It was fun being an indian for a day.
This was a window at the Estate Sale we went too.

I loved the little girls dancing to the music in this one

This Mountain Man was selling all kinds of neat things

This lady helped to start the Ashton Rendezvous

I love that the target is in this shot

My brother, his roommate, his sister, my husband accompanied me on this adventure

On the Road Again, 5-26-11, 2:45pm, f/5.6, 1/320s, canon rebel xt, I didn't do anything with this picture

I absolutely loved going to Bannock Ghost Town. I could have spent many more hours taking pictures. I tried my best to have a unique eye for what I was shooting. My goal with this trip was to get good pictures without having to make to many edits. I am one to make lots of edits, so I decided to practive getting those good shots without editing to much. Increasing the saturation was a popular edit for me to help the colors pop. I also learned on this trip the importance of using a tripod. Your pictures may look okay on your camera, but they are not! I loved, loved this trip and hope to go back.

Panoramics

Green, 5/13/11, 7:42pm, f/8, 1/125s, canon rebel xt, increased saturation, blacks, and temperature

Sunset, 5/13/2011, 7:58pm, f/8, 1/100s, canon rebel xt, increased saturation

Just around the river bend, 5/13/2011, 7:57pm, f/6, 1/80s, canon rebel xt, cropped, increased saturation and blacks
I wanted to get some good nature shots for the panoramics. I knew that a wanted vivid color and good sun light. We got lucky and had perfect sunlight and lots to see. I had to crop out more then I would have liked too, but overall I loved taking these shots. The twists of the wrist helped me a lot. I can see how it is better then rotating.

Mountains, 5-1-11, 12:34pm, Logan UT, f/14, 1/800s, canon rebel xt, increased black and used adjustment brush to lighten the tops of the mountains

I went to this greenhouse Saturday morning and forgot my camera! It was so pretty, that I decided to go back. I was able to experiment with my f/stop and practice with focal length. I also decided to use adjustment layers with some to get in more practice. There are a few where I wish they were a little more crisp and lighter in different areas. I had so much fun taking them. At the greenhouse, there were chickens and on the drive out there we saw some horses. Animals are hard because they move around so much! I took a ton of pictures and got a few good ones! I loved taking pictures this weekend.
