I went to this greenhouse Saturday morning and forgot my camera! It was so pretty, that I decided to go back. I was able to experiment with my f/stop and practice with focal length. I also decided to use adjustment layers with some to get in more practice. There are a few where I wish they were a little more crisp and lighter in different areas. I had so much fun taking them. At the greenhouse, there were chickens and on the drive out there we saw some horses. Animals are hard because they move around so much! I took a ton of pictures and got a few good ones! I loved taking pictures this weekend.

  1. Torrey, I loved your "What to buy" photo. The composition is amazing and the colors are really complementary. The vignette really adds to the mood, too. I've always loved greenhouses--whether they be for flowering plants or vegetable types of plants-- and seeing this picture is encouraging. This picture gives me hope of warmer weather for gardening!! Thanks for your good work!

  2. I really like you “Eye on you” photo. I really like how you placed the horse on the right side of the photo. The background is perfect also with it out of focus and the lighter colors, which make the horse contrast with it. The other picture that stands out to me is the “Focus on Me”. This photograph is nicely focused on the one flower even though it is surrounded by all of the same color. Great job with all of your photos!
