Panoramics

Green, 5/13/11, 7:42pm, f/8, 1/125s, canon rebel xt, increased saturation, blacks, and temperature

Sunset, 5/13/2011, 7:58pm, f/8, 1/100s, canon rebel xt, increased saturation

Just around the river bend, 5/13/2011, 7:57pm, f/6, 1/80s, canon rebel xt, cropped, increased saturation and blacks
I wanted to get some good nature shots for the panoramics. I knew that a wanted vivid color and good sun light. We got lucky and had perfect sunlight and lots to see. I had to crop out more then I would have liked too, but overall I loved taking these shots. The twists of the wrist helped me a lot. I can see how it is better then rotating.

Mountains, 5-1-11, 12:34pm, Logan UT, f/14, 1/800s, canon rebel xt, increased black and used adjustment brush to lighten the tops of the mountains

  1. I really like your top and bottom panoramic photos the best. It is really cool that you did 3, good job. I like the top one because it is so whimsical and there looks like there is dust in the air. Also I really like the last one mainly because I love water and rivers, I just want to go camp next to the beautiful river. The edits are pretty cool and vivid. The sky is very bright in all of the photos and i like that rather than the washed out white look that most photos provide.

  2. Really great composition in the last photo. I love the curves, my eye flows through the photo really naturally because of it. I feel like you were really able to capture the light in that photo as well. The colors in the top pano really pop. I think you did a really great job!

  3. I love the Panoramics! Did you edit the colors after the photomerge? I love the colors, especially on the top one. It looks like there's a tiny section in the top left that photomerge didn't fill in. Love the colors, composition, lighting, just overall great pictures.
